Grande ville portuaire, capitale de sa préfecture, Yokohama est tout simplement la seconde ville du Japon en terme de population. Indéniablement ouverte sur le monde, elle abrite la seconde plus haute tour du Japon, la Minato Mirai 21.
The Yokohama, Japan Shave (Full Experience) Inspired by HairCut Harry / The Nomad Barber Our Belgian friend Mathieu Wallez who was featured in two other Gentleman's Club videos is back again in the barber's chair getting a full experience wet shave from head barber Maruyama-san. Barneys Barber's Shop by Kamisori Club 148 is bar none the best place in The Greater Tokyo Area to get a shave, and more than likely in all of Japan. It is so thorough and relaxing. Definitely put it on your list of things to do for when you make it out to the wonderful city of Yokohama, Japan. This is a long video where only short edits were made. I hope you enjoy. Our friends over at Japanese leather crafts label, Roberu, finally opened up their own store last year. We took a half hour train ride from Tokyo to Yokohama to pay them a little visit. Here's a look at the store as well as founder, Shinji Iwamoto at work, crafting a DSLR handstrap for us in less than 25 minutes. Yoshimuraya opened in 1974, and basically created Yokohama-style ie-kei ramen. It's a heavier type, but done right it can be smooth and flavorful. Definitely one to crush if you're in Yokohama. The Yokohama, Japan Shave (Full Experience) Inspired by HairCut Harry / The Nomad Barber This is bar none the best place in The Greater Tokyo Area to get a shave, and more than likely in all of Japan. Head barber Maruyama-san really knows what he's doing. I've personally been living in Japan for 13 years and experienced a lot here, but going to Barneys Barber's Shop was on my still yet to do Japan bucket-list for about a year now. Well in September 2016 I finally made the venture out to Yokohama city just for this experience. If you consider going to the massage parlor soothing, just wait until you get a wet shave here. It is so comforting and carefree. Whatever worries of the day you come in with on your mind I promise you will be shaved off with the cut. That's a note from perso...
